No Boyfriend? No Problem!

There is something very appealing about wearing a oversized shirt that looks like it’s been borrowed from a boy. However not everyone of us has the privilege of actually owning a boyfriend, instead we’re forced to get these shirts at our regular retail stores. Luckily many stores have caught on this ”dressing down” trend and boyfriend shirts are actually sold in the women’s section now. Here are some tips on styling the Boyfriend shirt.

1. The boyfriend shirt should be a little bit oversized.

2. Roll up the sleeves, otherwise the big silhouette can overwhelm you.

3. Button down the first few buttons and accessorise with a necklace for a more dressed up look.

4. Tuck it in! This is optional, but looks great with for example a pencil skirt, jeans or shorts!
