6 Ways to Be More Energetic During the Weekend

Did you ever want to do more during your weekend instead of being lazy in bed watching Netflix and eating Ice-cream? Here are six ways to be more energetic during the weekend.

1. Stop drinking a lot on Friday.
Try not to drink more than three drinks because a two day hangover is not the best way to spend your weekend.

2. Wake up earlier.
Waking up before 9 am can really make a difference. You suddenly have more time for things you normally don’t do. Like shopping, working out and doing the grocery. And when it’s 11 o’clock you already have shorter to-do list for today. Of course it’s perfectly fine to reward yourself with an afternoon nap as well.

3. Go outside.
Do something unusual, such as drinking coffee at another coffee shop. And don’t forget to bring your friends with you.

4. Be creative.
Start on that hobby you’ve always dreamed of or scroll endlessly on Pinterest to find one great DIY project. This way you can take a break from your normal rhythm and it feels really good when you have completed your project. You’ll be more creative the rest of the week.

5. Take time to relax.
Because you want to be energetic doesn’t mean you can’t relax. Spend a few hours of watching your favorite series or movies you never had time for.

6. Meet new people.
It’s easy to do the same thing with the same people every weekend over and over again. Don’t be afraid to meet up with other people.
